    Typical Standard NGD

This is as boring as it gets, a black Les Paul Standard. But I always wanted one, finally had some cash on the side, and found a good deal. I was actually on the hunt for an older "aged white/ivory/creme" (whatever you call it) Les Paul Custom (you know, Randy Rhoads model), actually found a few, but did in the ned not want to cough up that much cash and then using it as live guitar, sweating fuck all over it and getting 2500 ding-dongs on it. Then this one popped up, and it caught me (contrary to some others that were also available). This one is made in 2008, was previously owned by Mike Squires from Duff Mckagans Loaded, and used to record their album "Sick" and was then his live guitar.

It's a played rocker, but that's exactly what I wanted, and what I will also do with it.

Here are the original selling pics, will do some shots when I am FINALLY at home (delivery was to my workspace 9 a.m. today...shit, it's like all clocks stopped, wtf....) and maybe even a recording. But most likely I will just play the Nightrain riff for the next few hours before i leave for the Ghost show tonight.

Oh, yeah, I had the signature removed. Mike Squires is a good player and I am sure he is a cool guy and all, but that's just not my style..

Nice. I think the black standards dressed in creme are one of the classiest looking LPS around.

You know, I like that a lot. That really is a classy-looking guitar. Grats on getting your gas guitar, man. Nice work.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Nice - the aged look works well on that.
