I always wanted to purchase a Jackson King V and I have one of the pro series in mind, but when I were in the shop and tested it, it didn't play comfortably at all. Is this something I need to get used to? Do I need a footstool or something like a foot rest?
I have this constant feeling of the sharp edge of the guitar cut into my left leg, it's really annoying.
What do you guys think?
You don't NEED a footstool or rest, but if you want to use one...that's up to you. Most guitarists have to adjust their posture or playing style to play a V comfortably. This makes some guitarists hate V's, while others love them. I have a KVX10, while it's not my main guitar I like the fact that I have a V in my collection.
