With diveonly I mean completely decked like a vintage strat trem.
I love flat-mounted Floyds! Feels solid when palm muting but has all dive-bomb range and tuning stability (if not more!) than a floating Floyd. I love floating too, but dive only is special. Also, it has no gravity issues like you have to tune a floating just for standing up or sitting down, or if somebody else tries the guitar he has to retune it if he has a bigger/smaller belly...
Here's dive-only superstrat I "made" for a friend from some Cort body, Warmoth neck and Gotoh Floyd! It turned out absolutely fantastic!
