Here you can see the unique neck carve, it starts off with a fairly normal C-ish shape at the nut; at around the 9th fret it transitions into a semi-V shape - the bass side of the neck is fairly flat. A remarkably comfortable neck carve. I'm quite happy I took a chance on it.
After the body was cut, Darren suggested using a metallic grain filler. My first reaction was , but then Darren sent this picture -
After seeing the copper my reaction turned into
The copper around the side-dots really ties it together too
It's only been about an hour, so I'm definitely still in the honeymoon phase, but it has earned one of two spots in my bedroom - displacing my silver drip Suhr. That is a strong statement for me...
