I know Gibson and Martin comes up in discussions about Richlite all the time, but I was wondering if other brands use it as well?
Other nature friendly materials I'm interested in is hemp and bamboo!
I don't like the idea of using rare/endangered woods for guitars.
For a custom build I would tell the luthier to use Richlite for sure! A hemp/bamboo body would be fucking cool as well. For neck I think I still wanna go with a 3-5 piece maple, but that shit grows everywhere anyway.
I'm going to start using richlite soon. The company I work for used it as rain screen in building construction.
