    Got my axe Plekked

So I have heard about Plekking and here in vancouver a guy has a machine, I heard so much about it and wanted to give it a shot.

I took in Goldie, my #1 that I built with the help of Ian Neill.

It plays amazing now! the action is crazy and I have never had a guitar play so well across the entire neck like this, no buzzing at all, anywhere and I play 9.5 - 44

    here is a clip

    Happy new beer!

I get more interested now in Pleking a couple of my guitars, but it gets really expensive compared to a luthier but maybe it's worth it?

Only one person in Sydney does Plekking and I've had to fix up more than one of them after the setup. Unfortunately if not done right they're just as bad as someone who has no idea what they're doing.

When they're done right they're pretty good, however I couldn't justify it personally.

In Sweden we only have one PLEK machine as I know, so I think they better be good at it!

I understand my Suhrs were plek'd. They play spectacularly - I don't know if that's the plek or everything else, but, well, they play spectacularly.

I had a plek'd Brian Moore back in the day and it was amazing.

My G&L Legacy came Plek'd from the factory and the tech's name was noted on the certificate. Although it plays great and I love the guitar, I'm not sure I would know the difference unless there was something dreadfully wrong with another guitar I could compare it to.

There's a place here in town that has a Plek machine - cost for the service is $175.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...
