I wanna have some "acoustic" tones but I really don't wanna buy an acoustic guitar. So I'll get some piezo saddles and shit for the intended guitar.
I've heard you gotta have thick strings to make it sound good but the guitar feels very nice with 10-46 and I don't wanna change it to something else. So before I eventually go ahead and get the necessary stuff I wanna know if 10s sounds good with piezos... It's a 25.5" scale fender guitar
If this is for live use, it'll be 'ok'. It isn't the most pleasing sound, but it'll do. This was an RG2027 with 9-54 (7 string) gauge strings. I can't remember what else I did to it. Something in Pod Farm. But I think it sounds ok. Not amazing, but ok enough for me. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/.../PiezoTest.mp3
