I apologize guys... I've been meaning to celebrate some new gear with you all sooner!
However, I just haven't had the time and wanted to have footage before sharing.
Without any further, I present the MESA:Boogie Mark V and the EBMM JPX LTD.
Here's some video footage:
Something weird is going the audio from time to time.
I shredded a little more for you guys since there was lack in previous vids.
I have it on the Extreme Channel, with a slight Soul Food Boost and Flashback X4 Delay from time to time.
I am running it through a Legacy 2x12 with M.I.E. Celestion Vintage 30 Speakers (NCD too actually).
I am in love with the Mark V. This amp just has so many options and it remains so versatile. It pretty much can rip a hole in the Universe.
I can play Jazz, Country, Rock, Metal. Basically, whatever I want and the sound can be obtained.
Funny, my friend and I took a Bogner Ecstacy, a Friedman BE-100 and the Mark V. And in our opinion it blew everyone of those heads out of the water.
Obviously, the Friedman is somewhat vastly different. I still think Channel 2 on the Boogie holds on its own.
I will say, this head is still fairly complicated and I am still experimenting. It's been a very rewarding experience however. Very thankful for the gear, it's amazing!
Disclaimer: I promise I am not a Petrucci copy and go to Berkle. Regardless of what my gear may say about me.
John Petrucci is still a KING.
The Guitar is absolutely fantastic. Nothing much more you can say really. Love the Roasted Maple Neck. Still like the tone of my JP13 slightly more.
But the JPX holds it own very well. I like the feeling of the JPX more though because of the neck & radius.
