A while ago I superglued these screws so they wouldn't come loose, but now I fucking NEED to get the block off!!! I'm going to put together a partscaster for a guy in town and I suggested my leftover Gotoh Floyd (with a "Frankenbar" since the old broke at the screw tip), but it's going to be a non-recessed dive-only (yes, ACTUAL dive-only! Not that fake half-floating stuff) and I have to replace this 37 mm block with a 41 mm block.
I tried screwed as fucking hard as I absolutely could but the screws are fucked now! I can't get it out.
What should I do?!
There's two things that loosen up superglue - heat and acetone. I'd take off all the parts, especially plastic ones, and put it in the oven at 150C and take care not to burn myself.
You didn't need to superglue them in, by the way. At all.
