I just noticed that my stupid Ibanez bass have the nut slightly away from the fretboard edge
I remember I had to raise it a bit a while ago to prevent buzzing
I didn't do anything with it for a while because I thought I had no more super glue at home, but I actually found a brand new super glue bottle in the tools drawer! So I went straight to the bass with it
Now, I hammered off the stupid nut and filed down the connecting surfaces (there was apparently a bunch of glue there, maybe that prevented from full contact) and put it back together
Then, I put it back together. And I was sure to not glue in the contact surface, but below it instead, and now it's STILL a little gap between!
Why is this happening? I was pressing REALLY HARD to make it stay against the fretboard edge but still there is a gap I may try again now andreturn with results!
I'm thinking of just dont giving a crap about this one and getting a Warmoth 5 string instead but that will cost money...
Actually it looks like a gap there but when I llook closer on the FRETBOARD EDGE AGAINST THE NUT (NOT ON PICTURE!) it looks like it's actually ... against the nut? I dont get why the outer stuff looks like there a gap but the actually connection, "looks connected" or what to say...
