Yo, I went to the Netherlands to see a band I bloody love on Saturday. It was at a festival which Aristides were sponsoring and they had a few models on showcase there so I thought I might share a bit about that. I always knew they were well built, having seen AVH's tech review of an 070 but I never took much interest because they're pretty odd looking guitars and their interest seems to run in the Djent circles a lot but I tried out an 060 to see what the deal is. First off, the weight was pretty moderate- not really heavy but not that light either so it felt like the average wooden guitar. I found the shaping of the body pretty comfortable to sit with and the neck was smooth and slim- no gloss so sliding up and down the fretboard was easy. Fret work was immaculate and it sounded pretty good through the Koch amp and Tube Screamer they had at the booth. That thing was really solid a and impressive overall. Of course- mandatory pics. Sorry, they're not great because it was pretty dark and my phone camera doesn't handle that amazingly. Also, I forgot to take a pic of the one I tried. D'oh.
Lucky!! I have a 070 on order right now and I got my update pics from pascal. So far it has been the best experience I have ever had with ordering anything besides sweetwater.
