Help me with U.S. custom taxes. Am I in the correct section?

    Hello guys!

I used the search function, Google and asks some guys, but I didn't get a solid answer about this.

Like might you know, I live in Argentina, and customs here are semi-closed. That's why I started working with a freight that's based on Miami.
That's the only way to buy things and enter them to Argentina.

I always bought products based on U.S., but now I want to snag a guitar that's on Europe.

Just want to know how much I have to pay for a 1000 dollars guitar. Talking about custom taxes, for sure.

    Thanks for the info.

Ps: sorry for my English ☺

Probably same procedure as smuggling from N.America, custom duties are executed by your government (and I have no idea why you declare contraband at the customs office)

You might even save ~20% when you buy as a Non-EU customer and have the VAT deducted by a commercial seller.

    Wirelessly posted

Your customs office might have an online form with all of the import taxes rates. Also, you should ask the seller if there's a way to pay them along with the guitar so that there's no headache when the guitar arrives in Argentina.
