After the grandiose victory of successfully blocking my Jackson RR24 to a rock solid DIVE ONLY metal machine, I decided to for like the millionth time try to block my loyal and trusted Warmoth Superstrat.
I've had this trouble before, but I've never really understood the reason, but now I do!
I first blocked with original 3 OFR springs, and that was shit. Probably because of the uneveness, the thicker strings went sharp.
However, I changed to TWO really hard Gotoh springs and WOAHPERFECT TUNING STABILITY JUST LIKE THE RR24
Here's a pic right after blocking, I used 3 strat saddles with screws and superglue.
Yeah my shirt got stuck in the super glue
I also got stuck on my chair, I could actually lfit the whole chair up just by standing up!
CONTEXT: USE EVEN SPRINGS WHEN DIVE-ONLY BLOCKINg. LIKE IN THIS PICTURE RIGHT HEREAND ALSO, MAKE SURE THE BLOCKING THING IS HIGH Up.
That's why I built the saddles up a bit
By the way, does somebody know why Gotoh Floyd springs changes their color every now and then? Most have been "bronze color", but once I got "steel color" and now the springs I got was BLACK. I don't feel any different by bending them, but they do look different!
