    Counterfeit UVGR on ebay?

1991 Ibanez UV777-GR Universe Steve Vai. Loch ness green. Unique! Rare!

At first I was just outraged about EMGs in a GR -- but then it went downhill from there.

Feel bad for the guy if he thinks it's legit. Nice neckplate, though.

Looks to me that all the hardware is legit at least. Besides maybe those locking nuts, holy fucking shit

If that was like $350 I'd roll the dice on it. From 10 feet away it's a great looking guitar.

That body looks like it was bought half-finished and then someone hacked the output jack and trem routs. The neck looks aftermarket, again half-ass with awful inlays.

Cripes - that's not nice looking. Anybody who wants a UVGR knows the inlays are 3-color, not black or whatever these are.

Plus, where is the battery for the EMG's? Under the pickguard? That's really convenient.

If you blow up the pics of the inlays, they definitely look like they were either painted or magic-markered black or something. They could be tri-colored under the black. And I LOVE those locking nut pads

The cavities really give it away. They look nothing like Ibanez routing. Also, it could be faded but that colour isn't quite LNG anyway.
