Not going to go into detail of the history behind all this stuff but short story is:
I wanted a no-nonsense riff machine and this does it. One humbucker, hardtail, and nothing else!
Basically the only "special" thing I did to the body was to plug the output jack before I finished the body, to make the output on the side instead of top. Looks better that way on this particular guitar.
Now there's a few things I want to/need to do:
1. Put string ferrules on the back (forgot to order previously, but I have a package coming next week)
2. Change the current EMG 81 to EMG 60. That's my personal special recipe for awesome riffing tone
3. Shorten the screws in the bridge saddles, they are sticking up with the current action. Alternative might be shimming the neck a bit.
NOW LETS ROCK OUT! Freewheel Burning!!!
