I've been after a backup Universe for a while now, and I managed to scrape together the pennies to bag the one Mr S was selling. This is good because it's been through the MG crowd quite a bit (7 Dying Trees > Lozek > Mr S > me), plus it reunites the pair as my green dot came from Ryan too.

    Enough waffle, pics:

    The pair

The headstock's a bit less worn on this than my green dot

The body's had a lot more knocks though

The trem is pretty corroded, but functional. There's a brand new Lo-Pro bundled as part of the deal though, just got to decide if I bother swapping it or not

Not sure if the lowest saddle has been reshaped, or if this really has been played enough to wear the edge down like this
I'm so metal I shit bats

Wonderful! I've always wanted a silver dot uni. Looks like a great guitar!

Nice to see them kept together. I set both of those up. I think the Silverdot plays better, but the Greendot sounds better, personally.
