I had a guitar with one for a couple of years. It works ok with or without the zero point system (I took mine out), but it feels a bit cheap, especially the moving parts - restringing felt like I was going to get a stripped fine tuner or bolt head. I wouldn't avoid a guitar that had it if I otherwise absolutely loved it, but there are so many cool guitars with Lo-Pro that I just stick to buying those nowadays.

Good to know. It's a shame it's that cheap feeling. Some cool looking guitars have it, but after dealing with some shit licensed floyds, the thought of having to deal with another stripped screw hurts my heart.

I have an RG550LTD which I have had for 20+ years, and its Lo-Pro trem still looks as good as new, and I have played that guitar a LOT, and I mean A LOT.
My RG7 Premium which I have had for maybe 4 years now already shows some wear on the surface of its Edge Zero II, and this guitar has not nearly been played as many hours as my RG550. The trem still functions perfectly and stays in tune just fine, just the surface shows wear, as do the fine tuning screws, no big deal, but I think that does say something about the quality of materials used ....

Absolutely agree, only I'd put the Edge Pro on par with the Edge/LoPro. In terms of quality and stability at least. I don't like the whole ball-end system it has, but it's optional, and you can still string it like a normal FR. Feels smooth as hell to me, too.

I'd put the Edge III a little lower though... You also forgot LoTRS. That needs to go at about 99.

Even if it's not saying much, the Edge III is much better than that horrible Lo TRS 2.
