Pretty much the same target audience.

Why can Charvel do this, and not Ibanez?

    Explain it, like now!

And note that this isn't even all models in all colors; there's white So-Cals as well, not pictured here.
It proves nothing without seeing sales figures or if they continue offering that many colours in the future. Could be they're trying it and it may or may not work out for them.

Not interested in a single one of them at all. Please can they stop putting the edge zero on damn near everything with 7 strings, it's getting old now.

Because Ibanez appeals to mostly modern metal guys, while Charvel appeals to '80s shredders like you.

Im still not sure if a FR (that I never use to be honest) or a Hardtail... but seems theres no SoCal (Pickguard) in hardtail version

A Guthrie Govan style cheaper version would be great to me.

I personally think the Charvel userbase is very different than the Ibanez one, Charvel gathers to more people wanting flashy colors and 80-90 designs in the Hard Rock area, Ibanez market isn't really for those. They are seen as more Metal and "Djenty" guitars and those bright solid colors with with old school Fender Bodies and Necks simply don't attract its crowd. Heck only recently im looking at Strats (and Charvels)... last year I could barely stand them
I need 24 frets, which the So-Cals and San Dimas doesn't have. so Charvel is out of question.

You can always get yourself a Floyd version and block it = double locking hardtail basically. I love the tuning stability of that!
Or diveonly. Feels like a hardtail when playing, but you can still do some dives when you want.
Thats my prefered Floyd setup, all my guitars are dive-only because I like the solid hardtail feel, but need some flashy dive stuff at times.

Yeah, the lack of hardtail So-Cals is bad! They really should have it.

Can't wait for Rocka to complain it's not solid white with a rosewood board.
