Another tale of Kiesel being Kiesel and Kieseling Stuff

    Rig-Talk ? View topic - Kiesel's customer service sucks!

well done, Jeff. How this company stays in business, I do not know.
Disclaimer: I work ultra part-time for a local music gear dealer. And as a male plus-sized model for mankinis.

Me: So your telling me that even though my guitar is complete, ready to ship, and I have paid for it in full several days ago and thus essentially now own the guitar, they might need to take parts off of it.

Mike: Yep, That's exactly what I'm telling you.
That's the point where I insist on getting my money back.

Is this the same thread that's on SSO?

Either way, glad I don't want anything they offer.

    No idea. Probably.

    EDIT

    Yeah, same guy.

Holy shitballs. Do they have Stevie Wonder doing the routing there?

    Wow. Just fucking wow.

It's like buying a custom-built car and having someone call you and say they need to pull the interior out of it and sell that to another customer.

There has to be recourse for this sort of behavior... if you've paid for your guitar in full and they part it out to please someone else without your permission, that should be actionable - at least from my armchair attorney's seat.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Close, they had a CNC machine do it. Let me explain. First they glue all the pieces together, and they plane them horizontally and vertically. Then they locate the work in the CNC machine and it does the same moves it always does.

But they locate it in the CNC machine by hand, which means, they fed it to the machine off-center.

CNC does not just shit out guitars, as Kiesel would have you believe.

They locate the neck by pins, the holes in the neck are for said pins. Clearly looks like they drilled the holes wrong.

I know how CNC's work. My point of posting that is why the hell would they let this out, and why would they document it for all to see?
