    Older rg550 color match

I need to see if I can find somebody to repaint a headstock to match my coral mist body. I know it would be a PITA to match that color, but I managed to track down the original neck for this guitar, but some retard sanded it back. I'd like to get it back to original looking. I've got a black neck on it now, but it just doesn't look right.

    Any ideas?

I think Dana is some sort of professional paint sprayer. You should drop him a PM. He always seems to know his onions.

^^^ This. Dana seems to know his shit on this subject.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Every once in a while Dana sends me a picture or video from his paint booth. The guy is insanely good.

    Awesome!

Super interested to see what Dana does with it. '90s Ibbies often start to have clearcoat yellowing, so it'd be cool to see the color match process for that!

Not too much to it really other than, if the clear has yellowed, I make my color coat more yellow. I just match what I see

I got into looking at color yesterday and today. I figured out what they did when they painted this, I just need to work on the tints. It's a real tricky one. Plus the clear is yellowed to all hell.
    I've got it damn close.
