    Nice! I don't prefer that to the pre-CBS Fender design, but it IS one of the nicer derivatives I've seen, and is better than the CBS era by a long shot.

    Yeah, I like the way that came out. It looks a bit different, but still classy, and it doesn't strike me as a deliberately radical departure just for the sake of being different.

    Also, I like the way one side is only slightly higher so we get that two-level effect. Might consider a little path down the middle on the next one.
    All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

    That's just it, man. A headstock can totally make or break a guitar for me. It's about 50% of my check list when looking at guitars. I'm a firm believer in sticking to the classics and slightly modding them to suit.
