    New Neck Day...

This neck started out as the first neck I put together at work. Roasted maple with a birdseye maple board. It was for Landon Guitars(Landon Guitars | When you are ready for THE guitar, call us.). When it got to the final CNC process, something happened and the floyd nut shelf got routed way deeper then it should have and actually fucked up the truss rod nut. I saved it from the scrap pile and made sure everything was functional and fixed it up, fretted it and did some tweaking. The wood was just too nice to toss in the trash. Plus, I needed a neck set up for a floyd nut. . The big boss man, owner of USACG and Landon, said just to make the headstock a bit different from the Landon headstock.

Coming up with a headstock design is a pain in the ass. But, I have been wanting to come up with something to use on my personal builds. So this is basically the "prototype". Kind of tele-ish with a hint of the warmoth warhead, I guess. And it should work with different body shapes. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

That headstock looks great. It might look pretty cool if you removed the 'extra' bit too, but it's great as it is.

It looks cool. I like two level headstock designs like that one.
