Got my G&L mods done \m/

So I finally got to do all the mods on my Stupid Deal of the Day G&L ASAT Bluesboy. Switched the pickups to the same G&L MFD bridge pickup and Duncan Seth Lover that the USA models have. Swapped the control plate for a new one with CTS pots (500k volume and 259k tone), CMR switch, orange drop cap and switchcraft jack. Tusq nut and string retainer and Hipshot open back tuners. It sounds phenomenal. Huge improvement. The MFD is bright and twangy, but can also get raunchy. The Seth Lover is big and fat. In the middle position they blend really well. I also polished the frets as they were very rough from the factory. Now bends are much smoother. It plays great. Only thing I may still do is lower the nut slots a bit as I left it a little high. Not sure though as I actually prefer a high action on Tele type guitars.

    Very very nice!

Hey Joe(no pun intended haha), is that the standard G&L #1 neck on that?
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.” ― Alan Moore

    Seafoam

With the new mods, does that put the cost of this one around what just the guitar costs new?

That is absolutely gorgeous! Well done sir.

That is pretty much the exact kinda guitar that I'm after at the moment. A top notch Tele with at least one humbucker, but preferably two.
