NGD - The Dark Side of the Schwartz Has Taken Hold

A couple months ago, I bought my first "full fledged," if you will, Gibson Les Paul - a new, 2016 Traditional. I was coming out of a necessitated gear purge and the price, GAS, the old-school nature of the animal, and probably a healthy ladle of "Err Mah Gerd Les Paul," were all components in the decision.

As it turned out, it was a good decision for me. The neck, the weight, the sound, and my comfort level with this guitar were all positive. Since buying the Les Paul, my practice time has increased, my hand work has improved a bit, and I've never enjoyed playing more. In fact, I quit a couple of time-wasting activities in order to spend more time with my guitar.

Without any long explanations, I decided I wanted a second guitar again and having struck a helluva deal for another new 2016 LP Traditional, I pulled the trigger. It arrived yesterday.

Traditional neck, non-weight-relieved, '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus zebra pups, etc, Lemonburst instead of Lightburst.

So, at this point, my family consists of the two Les Pauls, my Boogie Lone Star and my pedal board. Here she is:

All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

One of these is going drop D, I'm sure. That wasn't my intent in asking for string gauges the other day, but it works out.

Those, some pedals, and a Lone Star is one hell of a combination. Congtars

Congrats! That sounds like a nice combo of gear.

Do any of your LPs have the coil splitting option?
