...and now I have a full minor-third up-bend on the third string with the whammy bar! Yay!
Basically, a few years ago, I replaced the original trem on the thing (a crappy liscenced Floyd) with a super-nice Gotoh trem. Worked brilliantly, but unfortunately the screws at the back extended further than the routing on the guitar, which meant less than a half-step of up-bend on the bar. I finally took the plunge today, and sanded out some extra wood, so now the trem's got it's full up-bend capabilities again!
I even managed to do it without butchering the guitar!
Soooooo...I'm off to practice 'Where Were You?' for the first time in years this evening!
