The wait time was completely over the top. I've had Shermans ordered from scratch, specced to the 9's, and delivered in half the time.
The guitar and neck, themselves, turned out wonderfully. I stayed in contact consistantly, gave the builder space, and kept checking and double checking specs to make sure nothing was deviating over time. The sad reality, is that by the time the guitar was ready to ship, my tastes had changed dramatically. I would never order from Chris again. Not because the work was bad, it wasnt, it's a very nice guitar, it's just that the wait time is unacceptable. I can have Mike execute a work of freaking art, and a masterpiece of functionality, in half the time. Shit, for that matter, I could have ESP CS or Jackson CS execute in the same or even less timeframe.
