Ok, anyone who's been reading between the lines probably saw this coming.
This amp kicks ass - alledgedly some of the best cleans in the Rectifier series, great (and seriously unappreciated) lead sounds, and, well, it's a Recto, so you know it slays for rhythm. Two channels, two modes on the clean channel ("clean" and "pushed"), and three on the distortion channel ("raw," "vintage," and "modern"), plus the ability to run 6L6 or EL34 power tubes. The tubes should be fine, I've had the amp about two years, but I've got a spare set of Mesa 6L6's that I'll toss in as well. I swapped V1 for a tung-sol, and will leave that in there unless you'd prefer the original Mesa tube, which I still have lying around somwehere. I also have the padded amp cover from Mesa.
The cab is about 3/4" backed, and has a single C90 Black Shadow speaker. I actually kind of dig V30's, which is part of the reason I'm selling (if you recall, earlier this spring I was bitching that I had to stop using my Recto 2x12 cab because the combination of the combo and the cab blocked the fan in my window), but I know a lot of you guys swear by the C90, which certainly is a little smoother.
This amp has been well maintained, played in a smoke-free living environment, and has (sadly) spent almost its entire life inside my bedroom, so it's very clean. I'll update this with pictures tonight.
I've never been happier with my tone - I'm only selling this because my Roadster gas thanks to a certain dwarven forumite has hit the boiling point. These go for $1599 new - I'm going to list it for a bit more on SS.org sometime next week on Craig's list, but will do $900 shipped/$850 local pickup for any MG.org members who have a join date earlier than this post.
Any questions, let me know!
