This is an awesome-looking and awesome-feeling neck, but it doesn't fit the guitar it's supposed to fit, so I'd rather sell it on and buy the right neck.
It's a Warmoth 24.75" scale Strat conversion neck; will turn any Strat or Tele into a 24.75" scale instrument with no other modifications necessary.
It is in like-new condition; truss rod and side adjuster work, nut is cut well, zero fret wear, no twist.
Only issue is that the previous owner didn't drill pilot holes when installing the string trees (which are properly located) so he stripped out the screws trying to get them on, and they are not screwed down all the way. It should be fixable with some pliers; I might be willing to do it myself if it is a problem for you.
This would be $297 new from Warmoth, plus $60 for the Hipshot open-back tuners. I'm looking for $225 shipped.
-24.75" scale conversion neck; fits any standard Fender-spec Strat or Tele.
-Maple neck, maple board
-No face dots, side dots only
-Satin nitro finish (feels unfinished, but slipperier)
-Warmoth "Wizard" profile; Not really like a Ibby Wizard 1; closer to a Soloist or Charvel Pro-Mod neck (slim, but rounded, with a flat spot on the back but no pronounced shoulders). Very, very comfortable.
-black Graphtech Tusq XL nut
-Includes Hipshot open-gear tuners
And the issue with the string trees (very fixable)
I wish I had a body this would fit on, because I'd buy it right now. That's an awesome looking neck.
