I have a near mint RG1527M Wizard-7 Prestige 7-str neck (2011) that I would like to trade for another Ibanez neck: a 5-pc Ibanez Ultra Prestige 7 neck--specifically those found on RG1527RB's from years 2005 - 2008. I would like to do a one-for-one swap, where we each cover our own shipping and insurance.
I'm not interested in ANY other necks, so please don't PM me unless you have what I've specified above.
This is an amazing neck with some light flame on the back, but I want to swap because I personally prefer the thinner neck contour of the '05 - '08. This neck is still thin, but has slightly beefier shoulders. This is actually a WAY better deal for the person getting my neck. You won't find another one out there in such good shape.
The frets have virtually no fretwear and no indentations. They've never been leveled, so plenty of metal left if you would like to do so (though it plays great as-is). There is no staining or grime on the fretboard or back of the neck. All the cosmo hardware is 100% intact as far as I can tell. I've been the only owner of this neck and it came off a 1527M I bought brand new in 2011. Smoke-free home and never gigged with. Just studio playing/recording.
PM me with any other questions or just ask in this thread.
U.S. only please--I no longer trust customs with delicate musical gear. I'm in Scottsdale, AZ, so I'll do local pickup if you're within 100mi.
Just PM me here please.
Basically, if you see "webmaestro" online somewhere, it's probably me, heh:

Wish pics were better, but I'm limited to what the iPhone and natural sunshine can provide...
Check out that slight flame...
2 of the 3 TR cover screws are missing. I always remove the TR cover, so those damn screws are the first thing I lose. Sorry.
Just some fingerprints on the hardware is all...
As the caption says, nothing wrong with the pressure pad, just a bad angle...
Normal wood variations in the Wenge, NOT DAMAGE...
No fretwear that I can detect...
I am interested in this. I've got a 2008 RG1527RB that I could swap with you. It has been played quite a bit, so there is some fret wear, but nothing that affects play at all. At work now so I'll have to look more at home.
