    School me on Graphtech

Just signed a deal with Graphtech as I've got a horrible tendency to destroy bridges & far too much inclination to mod every guitar I own. I've never really considered Piezos etc much, but it might be quite cool to add some different flavours to the new album. So, tell me all about what wonderful things I could do with their more exotic products.........

The piezos for the purpose of acoustic tones are good, but I would avoid using them for MIDI with Roland stuff. FAR too much crosstalk resulting in false notes.

I have the string saver saddles on a couple guitars and Dave will tell you that they are tone sucking shit balls but I like them for what they are. plus I have less string breakage now so thats a plus.

The nuts are really nice to help with tuning stability. The TUSQ stuff is really cool and sounds great for acoustic saddles and nuts.

If you want graphtech saddles, the tusq is good, but fuck the graphite plastic shit. its awful. Some people really like them though, so ymmv. They do function very very well, i just hate how they sound. The tusq saddles are cool as hell though. Glass glass glass zing glass glass zing zing glass.

I have the ghost saddles with a Roland setup, and I'm happy enough with it that I want another guitar loaded with them. I'm using it in a gigging band for songs like Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me and it works great when doubled with a guitar sound. It's way better than the Roland pickup, imo.
