Default NPD: Mississippi Queen (56k: OK; Mehtab: Banned)

I got the MQ neck installed into my guitar.... and

It's fat and warm like a neck pickup should be, but not flubby at all. The Jazz is my other favorite pickup for the neck, and compared to that, the MQ is warmer, and thicker, with less of the glass on top. It's great for neck pickup leads and warm clean chording. It's the perfect neck pickup for this guitar.

I give it:

5/5 Dios.

Low care factor established due to lack of pics.

I find myself liking bright pickups for the neck. I think the extra attack is pretty cool, and is always going to be different from the attack at the bridge.

That sounds really cool.

I like having one neck pickup for super smooth, creamy leads, and I also like one that's got a little bit of a bite to it (like a PRS Dragon I).

Pics of my 85 Rhoads added.

Also, it's not super smooth like a 59, it's still got bite, but it's more of a single coil bite.

The bridge pickup right now is the Cold Sweat, I have a Rebel Yell to throw in there, but I was impatient and wanted to get the MQ in.
