I have a B.C. Rich Savage Beast that I've had for about 2 1/2 years now with the stock B.C. Rich Pickups in them. They're not terrible by any means but for a few months now everytime I pick up the guitar to play it, the sound they produce leaves me uninspired.
So, I thought that it may be time to drop some better pickups in this thing. It's an all basswood body and I've been considering a few options. I was thinking of mainly a liquifire in the neck (unless someone else has any better suggestions), but for the bridge I was thinking either an X2N, Crunchlab, Possibly a Deactivator, That's all I've considered as far as DiMarzio is concerned. For Seymour Duncan I was considering possibly a Dimebucker, or maybe an Invader.
The only thing I'm not considering is: Active pickups, or Bare-Knuckles. Atleast not in this guitar.
I owned a bc rich before and the stock bdsm pickups are TERRIBLE, i can see why you want to change, in the end i just bought a new guitar, realised bc rich was not the way to go..
But i don't know too much about Dimarzio pickups so from the other selection i say go for the SD invaders
hope it helps
