Dimarzios i like a few models but none enough to actually buy.

From what youve mentioned id actually go with the TB4 its the lesser of the evils
Haha You want a fight? We'll meet at dawn, next to the downed Imperial star destroyer then we'll see if SD is bad or not

Anyways :P we are all allowed to have our own taste

Do you have some other 7 string passives in mind?

I study geology cause now I hang out with people that like rock ^^

I personally prefer actives in 7 strings and passives in 6.

I find that actives handle the low B far better not that passives cant do it, its just my preference.

if i was going to go passives i would take my 7 string down to Haydens work shop and get him to wind something specifically for it but that clearly isn't an option for you as it would be a hell of a long way to travel

Also if you want a link slapping on there shoot me a PM

I'm so jealous! Whatever we talk about you seem to have a buddy that can customize something awesome for you :O

I've tried like 3-4 sevens, and they all had passives, and the low B still sounded great to me ^^ I think that the difference in sound between passives and actives on the low B (or lower if you drop it even more) come more from the pickups characteristics rather than either of them handling the low B better than the other. I mean people still play bass basses are tuned lower than guitars and they still sound good, otherwise people wouldn't play them (flawless logic )

Well weve only spoke of two instances and the first i do the customisation/building myself.

I wouldn't call Hayden a buddy just someone that is very knowledgable and will provide the same service for anyone shortly.

Oh yeah did i mention he used to work at BKP back in the early days?

As we say here in sweden :P En gång ingen gång, två gånger och det är en vana" Roughly translates to "if it's done once then it isn't done, if it's done twice then it's a habit" :P

Now you've mentioned it ^^
