K so most of us will remember the 30 fret wargarbl guitar that Ibanez put out as a limited edition 2011 thing. The most standout feature (to me) was a "neck pickup simulator" that used the bridge pickup to give you a neck pickup tone.
It's an awesome idea and I cannot, for the life of me, find anyone who has managed to copy that system or even create a schematic for people to make one themselves. Anyone seen anything like this around somewhere?
According to this, apparently the simulator emulates the *tone* of the neck position. I'd bet then that it's simply a low-pass filter (like a tone control set at a certain value) that gets wired in after the bridge pickup for those positions on the selector switch.
