    Recommend me some pickups...

I'm looking for some high-output active humbucker neck and bridge pickup for my guitar that can handle high distortion/gain well and be suitable for very low down-tuning (from C to A standard)

    Thanks in advance.

Budget is unlimited. Wood is mahogany.

Um... EMG 81 bridge. For neck 85, 81 or 60 (depending on taste). I played EMGs in CGCFAD for years, and it sounds awesome. Tight, bright, in your face.

Always been a fan of EMG, but which model is entirely up to taste. I have used 81's in the past for the bridge. These days I am looking at 60's and 57/66 set. What I am particularly fond of is how they can so quickly be changed out. With an access cavity behind the pickup routes, you can literally switch the pickups out without changing strings. I am considering routing out my cheapo LTD to do this and just stock up on different humbucker types. When my mood changes, different pickup combo in about 20 minutes.
