A little while ago I swapped the pickups in my for the Seymour Duncan Invader SH-8 pickups. I don't know if this is correct, but to me it seemed like they got kind of a bad rep online...? Talking to SD about what I didn't like about previous pickups and what kind of sound I was after etc, the Invaders was what they recommended. Very happy with that recommendation so far! Both look and sounds killer IMO
Anyway, I decided to record something from scratch for a change (instead of just playing on top of an existing track as I use to). Unfortunately I moved my Axe Ultra to the rehearsal place and got the POD HD Pro to replace it at home. Still kind of new to it, so the patch I dialed in could probably be better, and my mixing skills isn't the best, but still sounds decent I think.
What do you think?
Tips/tricks on mixing are welcome!
