Realizing a pickup is lackluster for cleans

...shortly followed by realizing you never use cleans so it doesn't matter anyways.

    Who else has been there?

Everyone needs a great clean tone. Those 20 second intros on one or two songs NEEDS the best toan possible!

Then again I can wrangle a good clean tone out of most all of my pickups, even the EMGs.

I don't think I've intentionally used a clean tone for guitar or bass in years.

I'm clearly a little less metal than some of you.

My version of decent cleans and yours may vary. That's my problem.
All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

Cleans are what neck pickups are for. Who the fuck plays cleans with the bridge?
