Alright... What's the BEST/Fastest site to buy Bare Knuckle Pickups?

I'm at it again, years later, if anyone remembers that 10-page thread about pickups for basswood death metal...

I have a new RG550RXX coming in the mail so I decided I will try a BKP Warpig Ceramic in the bridge.

    - I need the black open coils
    - I also need the black hex screws

Where can I buy this that won't take 4-6 weeks to arrive to Canada and not cost $400 for a single pickup?

    Thank you

Don't know about Canada - I buy stuff from Reverb.com all the time and it takes no time at all to arrive in Oklahoma.

There's a zebra set with hex screws up there right now. However, you might message a couple of vendors and see if one of them has exactly what you're looking for.

All I can ask is that I suck a little less each time I pick up my guitar...

I've heard customers complain about turnaround time there - I guess Nick will occasionally wait to bundle orders and then put them in at once to cut down on shipping costs. This makes sense and is logistically an intelligent thing to do, but can result in an order coming in a month or two later than you're expecting.

Bareknuckle direct would be your best bet, unless you find someone who has the exact model you want in stock.

Legitimately thought this thread was a huge necro bump, as pretty much everyone here discovered BKPs are way overrated for the price in 2008.

Get some Duncans, or if it's a basswood RG, Dimarzios.

i actually tried juggernauts for the first time last weekend and did notice a difference in that i liked the sound more than I do most pickups. I didn't like it 200 more than other pickups though
