Seeing as we're necrobumping, I'll necropedanticise and point out what Drew was referring to was neck angle, not neck relief

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; DROID BIONIC Build/5.5.1_84_DBN-55) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Hey Droops, I have an OFR7 I want to install in my RG7420. I did some research to make sure it's a drop-in. Everything looks good to go, however, the LoTRS7 bridge never had locking studs. So, of course, I'm planning on yanking those out and drilling for the bigger OFR7 studs.

Now, I know you didn't do this to your Universe but I was kind of hoping that you had already done the homework and found out what diameter bit needs to be used.

On the FR website, they have a section that says something about "old style" posts requiring a 4.3mm or number 18 bit. But I'm not sure if that applies to the brand new OFR trem I bought, and if it applies to 7-string.

    Any thoughts?

since we're necrobumping whores I'll jump in on this. The Original Edge route is the same as the Lo-Pro Edge Route? If so then I'm gonna order a OFR for my 550. How is the PWH years after the mod?

This is for 7 string ones only I'm not sure about the 6 string one.

    Dan - you're right.

    Ryan - no clue, I'm afraid. :/

Other Dan - it slays. the bridge is still rock solid, and I just had her refret. She's one of the nicer sevens I've played.
