So, I've had my '89 Rhoads for a long time now. And some of you undoubtedly have read my other thread regarding swapping out my trem for a new one w/ Graph Tech String Saver saddles.
Well, I came to a realization regarding the saddle block set(lock) screw. My original trem had the shorter 'bullet' style lock screw coming out the back. Most OFRs have a longer 'T' shaped lock screw. The d-Tuna requires the 'T' shape for the mechanism to function properly (won't install on the shorter bullet style).
Well, call me fucking retarded But I only just realized that the T shape has a smaller diameter than the bullet shape, hence gives more room for the fine tuners to adjust before the saddle would bottom out. I'm gonna go back and swap all the lock screws now to the T style that came with the Graph Techs
