I'm spending some quality time with my new ESP, trying to dial out the buzz from it sitting untouched (and uncared for ) on the Guitar Center wall for all that time.
Originally, it was a mountain of fret buzz below the 12th fret, worst at the bottom, but good to go past the 12th. I backed the truss rod off a quarter turn and let it settle for about an hour, and now it is MUCH better. The thing is, now I have just a little bit of buzz all over the neck, instead of just below 12.
Some people like this setup, but I'd like to get it buzz-free. It's setup with Elixir 10's down a halfstep. What's my next best bet? I was thinking raise the action a little bit and perhaps loosen the truss rod a tad bit more, but figured I'd better ask before I break something.
