So, Christmas is right around the corner. This year, I've decided to change things up a little and make an actual list of things that I want. So, when people ask, I don't have to say: "I don't know..." and then get gift cards and socks.
So, I'd like to put together a little toolbox for guitar tech and luthiery stuff. I've already picked out a soldering iron. I picked this one: http://www.amazon.com/Weller-WLC100-...=1HOAIGC1Z971Z.
I don't know shit about soldering irons, nor which ones are ideal for guitar tech work.
So, how about it, MG.org? You guys have any preferences when it comes to tools for guitar tech work and luthiery stuff?
A handful of truss rod wrenches to match whatever guitars you have is always handy. I grabbed some ibby pipe wrenches (7mm/8mm) off of Brian at UJ last week. Definitely good to have.
