I've been wondering how easy would it be to make a very simple line selector footswitch. No fancy A/B/A+B just a simple A/B.
Could this be made about of very basic parts? For example finding three female 1/4 jacks and connecting them to a microswitch or similar?
I don't really understand a lot about electronics, only what I've done in physics. I'm sure I'm missing the point somewhere....
The reason for this is I have one distortion pedal that I use at the moment, good for rhythm, but I'd love to be able to use my big muff for stuff higher up the neck. Apparently, pushing two different buttons is too much effort.
This may help getting my point across...
Any input would be appreciated!
(apart from comments laughing at my big muff...or telling me to go buy a line selector)
a simple pedal looper could do this
that layout should do exactly what you want.
they also do a kit but its cheaper to buy the parts seperately locally.
