Something I like, a couple things I don't. Here's the inside of my six string - keeping in mind that this is a $2500 guitar.
I like: That is some seriously clean wiring. It's going to be a shame when I fuck it up adding a tone pot, but I digress.
I don't like: Why does my $1500 Carvin have threaded inserts in the body, while my $2500 Suhr uses wood screws to hold the control plate on? Also, while I understand these are hand made and all - that routing around the toggle switch area isn't the straightest thing I've seen.
I'm honestly a tad disappointed, and I know it's just cosmetic, but the insides of my Carvin, Sherman, and KxK were all absolutely immaculate. This looks a tad on the rough side.
I imagine the Suhr is still a killer axe, but some others can make something every bit as nice (and then some) for less $$$. Carvin happens to be one of those companies where you REALLY get your money's worth.
