Here's a good use for this pic again.
When I wire pots in, I almost always go from the hot wire on the jack to the center lug on the tone pot and then jump to the volume knob.
This guy goes to the volume pot, and makes a jump to the lug w/o the treble bleed resistors on it.
When I add my shiny new pot, do I need to move where the hot wire from the jack is here, or can I just tap off the center lug on the volume pot to the center lug on the new tone pot and call it a day?

Odd I've always hooked the tone pot up before the volume pot, so the hot from the switch to the left lug of the volume, and jump that lug to the tone pot.
