If you ever find yourself changing your strings drunk make sure you finish before leaving the house to drink more . I don't know anything about TOM's though so I need some help figuring out what I should get. The guitar is an LTD MV-300 and I can't find any info on the post size/spacing or string spacing.
I was looking at these bridges:
Black Gotoh Tunematic | Allparts.com
My friend had one of these on a Warmoth. Felt great but I can't tell if that's black or cosmo. Don't want to mix hardware colors. First choice if it'll fit my guitar and I can get the right color.
Schaller Black Roller Tunematic | Allparts.com
Black Modern Roller Tunematic | Allparts.com
These roller bridges look cool too but I've never tried one and have no idea if there's an actual benefit. Does anyone know what the differences between the two are? The Schaller doesn't have brass saddles but is more expensive, name-brand tax?
Any cheaper options are welcome as well. I just want to get my guitar playable as soon as I can
The Gotoh will fit right on, the others won't. That particular Gotoh pictured is cosmo, however the listing says black. Gotoh discontinued actual black for a while due to unfounded environmental concerns but has now introduced it again. You could try emailing them and WD Music to see if either has a genuine black one in stock. The reintroduction of black is fairly recent so it's difficult to find them.
