Okay, here we go. Asked a few knowledgable friends but we're stumped.
I want to install this on an import-style 3-way switch. Can anyone (dan? ) tell me what the pinout of the switch is that Dimarzio are using? The top line in particular has me baffled.
I know that on a Dimarzio red is hot, black and white go together and green to ground for plain series. For the north coil only it'd be red hot, black to ground, south coil only it'd be white hot green to ground.
So on that top line are Dimarzio using the lug that black goes to as common or the green?
I have no fucking idea. Any explanations as well as answers would be gratefully received. I fucking hate wiring pickups.
I'm assuming white is hot and it's tied to common which goes straight to the volume pot so it's never off (so the bottom line goes 3-2-1-C if 3 is series)
