I just want to do a shout out thread about my experience with IbanezRules!!.
I think people complain loudly when things go wrong, but when things go well don't often take the time to give it back...at least that's how my job goes, so I'm putting this out for Rich.
I have an Ibanez RG2228 that had a couple broken lock blocks when I got it (the little doo jabs that clamp the string in on the trem). I've put off doing a string change for a while because they were still holding down and didn't want to jinx it.
On a Sunday morning before work at 6am, I tried to change strings. The lock blocks were in pieces and had to be taken out in bits with a magnet. I emailed Rich at Ibanez Rules!! around 8am asking if he had 10 in stock (for the 2 replacements and 8 backups). Email reply at 9am from Rich, "I have plenty, yes." I'm at work already so I sent him the order/PayPal at 2:45pm while on my lunch break. Rich replies by 3pm, "Thanks, I'll get them right out." Shortly after that I got another email saying an Electronic Shipping Label had been created and a tracking number.
Package shows up Thursday which was cool cause that's my day off, and I get the RG back up and running. Now I'm all smiles and telling everyone how awesome this transaction went.
Rich Harris at ibanezrules.com - Ain't no joke.
Rich is a good guy man. He does get a bad rep as he can be rather abrupt with people which a lot take as being rude but at the end of the day he properly knows his stuff, has good range of parts that are well priced.
$300 for a setup is still insane though. ***GONE*** THANKS STITCH
