Now that I've got your attention...
Been having an issue with my Titan. Thinking it's something with the effects loop but since it has a tube buffered loop, maybe it's a bad/dead tube.
It started out as the loop just not working. The amp would work fine until I plugged something into the loop. Then I would get nothing. So I emailed Zach at Titan to get his thoughts and he suggested maybe it was the tube for the loop. In the mean time, I pulled the chassis out and the internals looked fine aside from being dusty. So I blew it all out and also put some contact cleaner on a q-tip and swabbed out the loop jacks. Quite a bit of dirt came out. Slapped it all back together and it seemed to be working fine.
Last night I fired it back up(with nothing in the loop) and it sounded like I was playing through an AM radio with a 1" speaker. Until I either plugged something into the loop or just put a jumper between the send and return jack. Then it came back to life.
Figured I'd post here to see if anybody had any thoughts so I can quit pestering Zach at Titan about it for a bit. And before I send it back to him to fix(said he'd go over it and fix it for free if I covered shipping )
Any thoughts? I'll probably pop it back open later and have a look again and maybe pull all the tubes and see if the local shop has a tube tester.
is it a series FX loop?
