I'm trying to figure out how to wire my 7620 using a three-way blade, volume, push-pull tone, and a 3-way on/on/on mini switch. DiMarzio neck pickup, Miracle Man bridge.
Here's the layout:
And a blank diagram:
I want the mini switch wired for series (bottom position), split (outer coil, middle position), and parallel (top position) for the neck pickup (unless there's a way to use it for both pickups). The switch on the tone pot is going to be a blower switch (up to send bridge pickup straight to the jack) and the 3-way blade is going do to be bridge, both, neck.
I'm not really sure how to pull this off so I'm looking for example diagrams or general guidance. I've always just pulled simple diagrams off the internet so it would cool to actually know why I'm wiring things up this way
wire the mini switch for the neck pickup like this:
Then wire the 3 way like this but ignoring the neck and wire the hot from the mini switch to the 3-way:
Then on the pull switch for the blower wire a lead from the bridge hot on the switch to the top lug (closest lug to the pot) then wire the hot from the jack to the middle and the hot from the volume on the bottom. Make sure they are all on the same half of the switch.
